Capability 06

Senior AI engineers, embedded in your team, under your brand.

Sometimes the need is not one sprint but a period of sustained capacity — a client engagement running six months, a roadmap you have already sold. You get dedicated senior engineers for that window, without the hire, the bench or the retraining.

What your client asks for

Can you have someone on our stand-ups for the next few months?

Engagements run in rolling sprints. You can start with one 14-day sprint and extend, rather than committing to a quarter before you have seen the work.

01 — What you get
01

Engineers you meet first

You interview them before anything starts. The person on the sales call is not a different person from the one in your repo.

02

Dedicated, not shared

Not split across five accounts. Their working week belongs to your engagement for its duration.

03

Real timezone overlap

Hours held against your working day, so code review and decisions take hours rather than a full cycle each way.

04

In your process

Your repo, your board, your stand-ups, your definition of done. We adapt to your team rather than importing ours.

02 — Under the hood

The parts that decide whether it survives contact with users.

  • Every engineer has shipped production LLM systems at YC or VC-backed companies
  • Written handover documentation as a standing practice, so knowledge does not leave when the engagement does
  • Code review against your standards, not a separate quality bar we set for ourselves
  • Direct access to the engineer, not an account manager relaying questions
  • Scope and capacity agreed in writing per sprint, so extensions are a decision rather than a drift
  • Continuity — the engineer who built it handles the issues that surface afterwards
03 — What we won’t do
  • Swap the engineer you interviewed for someone cheaper once the contract is signed
  • Bill for a senior and staff a junior with a senior reviewing occasionally
  • Insert an account manager between you and the person writing the code
  • Create dependency by leaving the work undocumented
04 — Questions

Before you scope it.

Is this different from your 14-day sprints?

Same engineers, different commercial shape. Sprints suit a defined deliverable; dedicated capacity suits a roadmap you have already sold and need to staff for months.

What is the minimum commitment?

Start with a single sprint. If it works, extend. We would rather earn the quarter than ask for it up front.

Will our client know they are working with a third party?

Only if you want them to. Default is white-label under your brand. Some partners prefer to introduce us as their AI team — both work, and it is your call.

Want to stop turning down AI projects?

Bring the scope you’re unsure about — an RFP, a client request, a half-quoted project. We’ll tell you what’s buildable, what it takes, and whether it fits in one sprint. No charge for the call.
